Enders Farm is proud to support the Eastern Michigan University Equestrian Team through the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA). The team creates an environment where students can continue pursuing their passion for horses while expanding their riding experience, developing versatility, and building strong connections within a collegiate team setting.
The EMU Equestrian Team welcomes riders from both Western and Hunt Seat backgrounds and offers a unique opportunity for students interested in expanding their experience across disciplines. Riders have the opportunity to explore both Western and Hunt Seat programs while continuing to develop adaptability, horsemanship, and well-rounded riding skills through exposure to different horses, riding styles, and competitive environments.
Through regular practice, shared learning experiences, and collegiate competition, riders continue building confidence, communication, catch-riding ability, and meaningful partnership with the horse. At Enders Farm, we believe collegiate riding should help students grow not only as competitors, but also as thoughtful horsemen and horsewomen capable of adapting across different horses, disciplines, and riding situations.
